We're Appalachian, and we're fire people. This is an aroma log, made for "a longer experience of intentional fragrance dispersion." It is not about heat, and it is not firewood.
The Fire Stave, cut from reclaimed Kentucky bourbon barrels, holds and carries aroma. On an established fire it adds toasted oak and barrel crackle.

Care and safety
Add the log and its Fire Stave to an established fire. Burn it only in a place built for a fire, such as a fireplace or fire pit, and follow the directions on the box.

Is it firewood?
No. It's an aroma log. It's about the experience, not heat.
How long will it burn?
There are many fires and many variables, so we make no promises and give no one-size-fits-all answers. Placed on top of an established fire, the aroma lasts as long as the fire does.
Can I smell it before I burn it?
Yes. Remove the plastic seal and the aroma moves into the room before the log is ever lit. Some customers enjoy it that way for a while before it goes on the fire.
What if it arrives broken?
We apologize on behalf of the shipper. Contact us and we'll make it right.
