For the fire pit night you didn't plan.
The kids want a fire pit night. The hike is Saturday. You have an hour, and a list. You don't need to shop for four things in three places. You need one box.
One box. The whole fire.
We're Appalachian, and we're fire people. We know what a fire needs, so we packed it. Crop-based Fiber Flame fuel, Wood Grillers, fire starters, and a Skeeterlog for the evening outside. The fuel is made from kenaf, grown in a field in one season.
Keep mosquitoes away with Skeeterlog.
Break. Light. Burn.
- Break. Break the Skeeterlog into pieces. A broken log works just as well.
- Light. Build your fire with the fuel and Wood Grillers, and light it with the fire starters.
- Burn. Place the pieces of Skeeterlog around the outer edges of your established fire and enjoy the evening.

Out past dusk.
The kit is open on the picnic table. The fire is going. The kids are roasting something and nobody is looking at a phone.
Or fire pit night turns into movie night.
